A 23-year-old from the local area was given a 27-week prison sentence, suspended for one year, after pleading guilty to dangerous driving.
Additionally, the court issued a one-year license suspension and mandated community service along with a rehabilitation program.

As stated by police officials, the recording was filmed at an unauthorized car meet in the city on 28 December 2024, featuring the driver operating a pink BMW.
“This footage shows the alarming incident when a reckless motorist drifted around a traffic circle at an unauthorized car meet, as spectators looked on ignoring the danger of serious injury.”
