Since the launch of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a wide array of personalities, and a exciting storyline featuring angels, evil spirits, and dark forces expanding in power within the urban setting.
Heads-up: Revealing details for the latest installment of Campaign 4 are included.
The Warrior Group Revealed
The third episode finished on a major cliffhanger and introduced the first table of heroes who will separate from the primary party to embark on their own adventure, distinct from the other two tables.
This warrior group consists of the determined fighter (portrayed by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).
Why Split the Party?
Given a large ensemble, it was obvious from the start that having everyone at the same party would be impossible.
This explains, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Overture, weaving together the individual narratives before branching into three smaller tables: Warriors, Schemers, and Seekers.
What Defines the Warrior Group
According to the DM, the Soldiers table is for participants who enjoy a typically action-packed battle-oriented gameplay experience where non-violent answers are few and far between.
Initially, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander might seem mismatched, but the events of episode 3 make it clear why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.
Reasons to Leave
For one thing, the team understands precisely where to go next after a intense first encounter with the antagonists.
Casimir of the deceased character—whose passing initiated the story’s plot—manipulated the foes for his own means, breaking into the secret base, striking Thimble, and stealing all the magical artifacts to dispose of.
Casimir then cleared his obligations and escaped to a secure base in the northern region, above the urban center, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.
Individual Reasons
Moreover, each adventurer has a personal reason to depart Dol-Makjar:
- Thimble, as the companion and trusted friend, wants retribution.
- The adventurer is familiar with the region and cautions that it is a nasty location.
- Tyranny and The cleric, having resisted his family’s wishes to eliminate Teor and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
- However, their position as important members in the powerful family could help the team reach locations they normally couldn’t.
- Moreover, The fighter swore a eternal obligation to The cleric for his salvation and will now accompany him wherever.
Wanted and Hunted
Finally, all of them are wanted by the rulers that rule the city for a multiple motives, making lingering locally dangerous:
- The rogue and The character are notorious outlaws.
- Tyranny and Wicander defied House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
- The fighter is wanted dead by House Halovar.
This results in them little choice but to head to Timmony in pursuit of the antagonist.

According to the latest episode’s post-show segment, we find out that the combat party won’t be around the following episode, leaving the other eight cast members to assemble the Explorers and Schemers parties.
